During these trying times, it is important to give back to those that have kept our lives moving during the COVID-19 pandemic. Through gratefulbrunch.org, both local restaurants and local medical offices will have the opportunity to be rewarded for all of the hard work that they have put in for the better part of the last year. Once every week, a random lottery of every registered restaurant and office will be conducted, and the winners will be a part of that week’s donation.
Medical office workers are front-line workers, too
Some of the biggest unsung heroes in the pandemic have been the office staff. They have been putting themselves in harm’s way to ensure that everything goes according to plan from a treatment standpoint. We are going to ensure that they are rewarded for these efforts with meals.
Restaurants have struggled during the pandemic
The restaurant business has been hard hit as a result of COVID-19, with some restaurants reporting as much as a 70% decline in business. gratefulbrunch.org is aimed to at supporting local restaurants during this particularly difficult time.
“After a visit to my pediatrician’s office, I noticed how hard the employees in the office were working even during a pandemic.
I also know that restaurants have been hit really hard by the pandemic.
These observations inspired me to develop a plan to create a win-win and reward them for their work during this time.
